When Jesus said that the Kingdom of God belongs to children, we believe it! With this in mind, we do our utmost to ensure that we can provide a safe, fun, and Christ-centered time for your kids while they get to be with us on Sunday. We believe it's more than childcare, it's ministry!

Our Summer 2021 Re-entry Plan

With Provincial Restrictions now lifted, we are now re-opening all of our children's classrooms with a phased re-entry plan through the summer. In order to best serve your family, we use Planning Center Check-In when your children arrive. If your children have never been in kids ministry or nursery at The Word Church, you can feel free to Pre-Register Your Kids so that you skip straight to check-in when you arrive on Sunday. Our kids classrooms will be re-opened according to the following timeline:

July 18th, 2021

Nursery (Infants- Age 1), and Toddlers (Ages 2-3)

August 15, 2021

Junior Kids (Ages 4-6)

Fall 2021

Age 7- Grade 6

Online Kids services

As excited as we are about our Sunday online service, we don't want to forget about our kids, who are just as valuable to God and to us! With the current COVID19 situation pushing churches to move services online into homes, our friends over at LifeChurch.tv have put together some online kids' services that you and your family are going to love! We already use their material for our Toddler and Junior Kids' classes every Sunday, and we've also included their material for older kids. We hope they are a blessing to you! LifeChurch.tv are also the folks behind the excellent Kids Bible App, and the app goes perfectly with the material, so be sure to check it out it if you haven't already.

Toddlers & Junior Kids

If your kids are in the Toddlers or Junior Kids classes, they'll already be familiar with this amazing curriculum! Don't be surprised if they already know the songs and the order of service.
