Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3-5). Child dedication is a special service where parents make a commitment to raise their children in a God-honouring way and the Word Church family makes a commitment to stand with the parents and support them on this journey. 

It's important to note that child dedication is distinct from baptism and does not impart salvation. Salvation occurs when a child reaches an age where they can understand and choose to accept Jesus for themselves. At that point, the child may choose to publicly declare their faith through baptism.
